i. The Premise

One piece. One owner. One of one.

Knight Craftworks does not keep a catalogue. Each work begins as a conversation and a single, irreplaceable slab, and concludes as an object that exists nowhere else: bespoke furniture, live-edge river tables where rare hardwood meets hand-poured resin, and singular objects drawn to the proportions of the room and the person they are made for.

The wood is chosen first, for its grain, its figure, and its provenance. Everything that follows is in service of letting that material speak, quietly and at length. Nothing too large, nothing too small.

The Process

From your vision to reality.

Every commission moves through the same four stages, each one carried by a single pair of hands.

i

Vision & Consultation

Every commission begins as a private conversation with Jerry about the room, the use, and the character you want the piece to carry. From your vision to reality is his specialty.

ii

Rare Wood Selection

A single slab is hand-selected from rare and exotic stock for its grain, figure, and provenance. The wood is chosen first; the form is then drawn to honor it.

iii

The Build, By Hand

Jerry shapes every piece himself, through traditional joinery, hand-poured resin, and a finish worked through countless grits. Nothing leaves the atelier until it is right.

iv

The Heirloom

Your finished work is sealed, inspected, and delivered with white-glove care. A singular object, made to be used daily and inherited for generations.

iii. The Maker

Jared “Jerry” Knight.

Jared “Jerry” Knight is the owner and master craftsman behind every custom piece.

From a quiet workshop in Austintown, Ohio, every slab, joint, and finished surface passes through a single pair of hands. What began as a private pursuit has become a practice given over entirely to singular, inheritable objects.

Jerry holds that a rare piece of wood carries a narrative worth the patience its telling demands. If you can envision it, he can craft it. Nothing leaves the atelier until it is right.

From your vision to reality is Jerry’s specialty.

Common Questions

For collectors, answered.

Every piece is made to order. It begins with a private consultation with Jerry Knight about your space, how the piece will be used, and the character you want it to carry. He then hand-selects the wood, draws the design around it, builds it by hand, and delivers the finished heirloom with white-glove care.
